:)I dont suppose if anyone knows, can you get a wood effect gear lever top for a automatic box. if so, how the hell does the old one come off?????? :-X

top of lever does come off (fair bit of time and effort required), but ive never seen a wood effect replacement.

If you've got any buttons in the lever then you probably won't find one, but I just had a look on Ebay.com, and if you've got a DEEP pocket: :o

:o :oCheers guys. Dont think ill bother then. Had considered the mondeo one but wasnt too sure, just think its a shame that ford went to all the trouble of putting a classy wood trim into the scorpio, then saved on pennies by missing out the gear lever. Never mind ehh!!! :( :(
