Well nearly that time again. Time for the annual trip across the Channel to sunny Sud de France (South of France - for those who don't speak German)

This year we are off to a place called Messanges which is on this side of France as opposed to the Mediterranean side which we normally favour. Still down near the Spanish border but a mere 670 miles as opposed to the 700+ we normally do so a bit of a disappointment! Good for the car though I guess as it has just passed the 90,000 mile mark.

(Messanges is marked with the star and is popular with surfers apparently!)

If anyone could stand another roving report this year, let me know and I will try and do my usual photos and Scorpio spotting for the 18 days we are away. If you couldn't stand another one like last year, let me know!

Thought you mentioned something about using a hire car instead ??? still should be alot cheaper now if you were to have LPG fitted ....... LOL }{

Hope you and the family have a great and safe holiday and don't forget to pack away those spare hoses just in case :-X

Have a great break Baz. We have been in that neck of the woods at a place called St Girons Plage.
Huge Pine forests, (there is/used to be a turpentine factory in the forest somewhere), and the size of the fir cones is amazing.Good shopping at a street market in Dax, and a ride or two out to Biarritz. Nice spot, and can be a wild coastline.

You should be able to get LPG for your surfboard there!!! 8)

Why would I need LPG?........................oh of course I had it fitted didn't I? Suprised anyone rememberd, I mean it isn't like I go on about it
