Although my diesel has done very nearly 200k miles more than that and its a whole lot cleaner in the engine bay... Looking at his other stuff the prices seem to have come down a bit, though the vast majority of his stuff i can get brand new from fords for the same price (and even less on some bits) :-/ Matt |

He says the speedo was changed after the last service but are the miles not recorded on the ecu. It could be genuine but personaly I would be put off by this unless there is documentation to back up his story. EDIT Forgot to mention this is the white one |

Post by taliban on Sep 1st, 2006, 11:52am well i have to say that on ebay some of his prices are top end, but to be fair to the bloke when i had an emergency, some low life smashed drivers window to break in, i phoned him and he got a window out of a car ready for me, was very helpful and only wanted a tenner for it. we then did a very fair deal on a pristine rear bumper for my scorp, and hopefully will have a deal on some injectors. i think once he gets to know you a bit the prices are much fairer and negotiable..... |

Post by howiedintheplace on Sep 1st, 2006, 1:38pm ;D ;D The white one is a typical "you think you have a low mileage minter scam" He would quote the proper mileage clearly & not try & fool someone into thinking it was barely run in if he was a honest chap. Kinds of put's you off his other don't it ::) Once had a guy here who thought he had a 35,000 mile Cossie, the wear signs & general condition of it told me it was way over 100,000 at least. Yet the speedo showed just under 35,000 ??? |
