disgusting alcoholic beverage you've tried?

i think for me it was stuff called bouka (i think) when i visited tunisia many years ago, it was known as fig brandy, it was absolutely disgustingly vile rough stuff the taste of which couldnt be hidden by any quantity of mixer........

For my wife and I it has to be RAKI.

We had a mega session with a mad barman and some friends when on Crete. You'll think I'm joking, but I can promise you this.

We haven't had more than about 10 alcoholic drinks each in the past 5 years!!

THAT was how bad our hangovers were!! MEGA didn't even begin to describe them.

We NEVER, EVER want to repeat the experience, and as a result we are now virtually teetotal.

Horrendous stuff. Used in Scud missiles I think!!! ;D

Slivo - plum brandy in bosnia. Pivo, bosnian home brew of varing bad quality depending on which roadside vendor you got it from. In Iraq the lads were trying to filter brasso through bread to extract the alcohol!

Most give up and mixed the screen wash with orange juice and promptly went blind!
