THE BOSS (Snoopy) has kindly agreed to judge suggestions for a Scorpio Sticker for us. Cossie AL has agreed to organise production etc

Could you please use THIS post to indicate your interest, as obviously this has to be financially worthwhile. We need to have an idea of production run number..

Please give this your support, and help to raise some worthwhile funds for the site, and at the same time, have the chance of seeing YOUR design on all Scorps in the UK that use this site. ;D

If you're a Member of the other Scorpio site, then perhaps you'll let them know. Obviously
the more interest, the more likelihood there is of getting the stickers made.

Lets hope this one gets off the ground. The only problems usually encountered are the fact that somebody has to stump up the cash to get the stuff made and then rely on all the people who have said they want one to actually buy one.

To be honest, my sentiments too. Used to go mad about stickers for this and stickers for that when I was a kid but like to keep it all plain now - no stickers, no flashy bits on the interior, not even any badging ;)

Only time I ever got flashed by another Scorpio driver...was when I was driving the Mondeo :-/

This is why we're going to get "The Management" to choose the final design.

Obviously we've got to come up with some designs!! :D

I think a tastefully designed rear window sticker would not only promote interest in the cars, but might even drive their second hand value up!!

I mean....would you WANT to drive anything else? :o

I still have plenty of plenum o-rings for people to buy.. I stummped up cash so folke don't have to pay a silly amount for these!

There is NO way you can check on the site donation. Only one person gets to see that , and that is Steve, who pays and runs the server side of things . It would either have to come from you or be on TRUST>

Would it work to advertise the stickers on e-bay and we buy them from there via pay pal?
This would mean that you would hit a wider audience, tho the donation would be down to you, which seems ok to me.

I'd be happy to have 3 of them, but I'm in Finland.

I don't do PayPal's or that sort, but euros translate to pounds
if I get a IBAN bank account no. where to put the support £ / $ / €

I also will in Liverpool in 2-4.2.2007 - it's weekend - and could collect
them somewhere there...

I agree. That was the whole idea.

To benefit the site, and sell as many stickers as possible to those who want them.

I personally don't have any problem sending a cheque to you.

Beware - Ebay charge a listing fee, plus a final selling fee, to the item price.

Also paypal charge a fee to the person receiving the money, whether it's come through an ebay sale or not.

Good old cheques and royal mail will make sure that the right people "benefit".

btw - can I have one as an ex owner for my X?

A reminder that the sticker still has to be designed, and Snoopy is going to pick the winning design early next year.

We need all of you to send designs to the site, so that this can happen!!

Obviously only one design can win, but it could easily be YOUR design that is chosen, so PLEASE start sending them to the site!! Personally I can't draw to save my life, but I'm sure some of you budding designers have hidden talents. :)

It’s important to know first from the printer what they'll accept eg.
What size the sticker should be,
What format can be used
Whether RGB, CMYK, or fixed number of colours.

I’ve been down the road of designing fundraising stuff only to find the printer can’t do RGB or whatever, & then having to do a conversion to whatever they can use, it can be a real pain.

Best to be absolutely sure from the start.
