3.5 grand for an eight year old Scorp  ???

It would have to have a Ford style warantee on it before I parted with that kind of cash  :P

£3,500, totally unrealistic. Might put my 84,000 FSH Cossie on there for £5,000. Any takers? ;) Some people are naive when it comes to the true value of their car.

Anybody seen the car dealer who has an advert in autotrader (or one of those mags, can't remember which) selling low mileage Fords?

Had a 1996 2.0 Ultima a while back, 1 owner, 11k etc etc.

£10,995 :o

Also had a Cossie for £11,995, a 1995 2.5 Probe for £8,995 and a 1996 Mondeo 2.5 Ghia for £8,995...

And I can't even sell my 2.3 for peanuts...

Regards, Bruce.

I think some of these people asking the high prices have probably paid a LOT of money not that long ago for their Scorpio or indeed had it from new..

I bought an immaculate 24v Facelift Ultima for £1500 from a lady who had paid £17,000 for it only three years previously...she had started at £5000 and had slowly dropped the price due to total lack of interest...

The dealer is in Southend & it is an advert that has been running in Autotrader for a few years now............just to grab interest, I think  ;)

It was certainly running when I bought my first Scorpio back in 2002/2003. The guy Reckoned that he used to have a Ford dealership and the 300 milere (LHD) was left over from a batch of 6 he oncxe had. He had sold them all apart from one. So I asked him how come he managed to sell 5 very quickley and got left with one? He never answered!!

The dealer is 'Rod Allen Cars' in Leigh-On-Sea, & the adverts are still on the Autotrader site.......

.......£10,995 for a 300 miler '98 R reg, 2.0 Ghia &...... £11,995 for a '94 M reg 14,000 miler cossie estate  ???
