Title: Uploading pics - test
Post by Butterfingers on Dec 16th, 2006, 5:25pm
just wanted to see if I could upload a picture of my Scorpio.  ;D

Mind you I'll probably fail miserably!http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p222/wmajid/DSCN9814.jpg

If you can see it great. If not sorry!

It took me ages to work the colour out. According to the information on the plate it is Cuirass blue. Or should it be curious blue ;D

Yep. It's Auralis Blue. Same as mine.  :D

A really nice colour, almost a very pale metallic purple/silver.

It's Cuirass on a 97, Auralis was the earlier lighter colour ;)

You can see the difference in this pic, I bought an Auralis spray as I thought mine was this colour when I had it first.
When I sprayed the grille I could see it was the wrong colour, when I bought the paint for the bumper I was told it is Cuirass not Auralis, I left the grille as is.

I stand corrected, and it's a VERY nice colour.

What front bumper is that, as it's different to mine. VERY smart!!

Could be tempted there!!  :)

Yes, regrettably it is and it hurt.  :'(

I am moving across the pond and I had to sell my Scorp. I just wanted to get it over and done, quickly and quietly.  :'( I didn't want to advertise it here as it would have prolonged the agony. I didn't really have the option of declaring a Sorn as I have no space.

A Polish guy bought it in the end. I had to turn my back as he drove off in it.  :'( I had quite strong heartburn shortly after it went.

My advice to anyone selling is don't it's not worth the pain!

On the upside, if I come back to the UK, I could find a Cosworth.  ;D

Butterfingers, I agree 100% with the above. Thought I had posted a reply before but anyway, best of luck with the move...I hoped to meet you on one of my expeditions into London but alas, it was not meant to be :'(

Keep in touch mate, let us know how the water tastes across the pond ;)

Regards, Bruce.
