Just looking through the Ford site and they reckon production stopped in June 1998.
My car was first registered in August 1998.
Interesting to know when the last one was made and registered. Who's got the newest one around kind of.
Also wonder when the first one was registered in UK, as A Scorpio (Not Granada) and if it is still on the road?

Mine was in 1999 S plate although I've seen them on e-bay on a T plate with very low milage. :o

so does that mean they kept on making them or that they sat on a forecourt for a few years before being registered ?

Still even with all the gremlins in the electrics they are a lot of car for the money, especially the facelft model.
Must have been a knock for people who bought them from new though with the depreciation but good for second hand buyers.

mines the "Y"plate scorpio but is in fact dec 98 first reg as an "S"plate then an irish plate now the "Y"plate,(see welcome thread for details and piccy)
