AHHHHH :o :o well guys n gals its coming very close to that time of year again when the scorp needs to see the doc.TBH i spend 51 weeks of the year worrying about mot time and once passed or failed and fixed,im right back thinking about the next one lol.So.....i,ll let you all know the out come...these r my predictions for its failure.....steering rack had advisory last year but done nothing about it yet lol and exhaust may need complete system from cat back its pretty grim but judging from a thread i made a while ago some members think noise i mentioned may be cat on its way out...anyway wish me good luck,looks like alot of us need it at M.O.T time

Good luck on that but if its a 2ltr I have a full system with everything except the flexijoint after the cat, its in pretty good condition....

tnx its a 2.3 ultima btw and mot is end of the month :'(

Hi there don't worry that much, i had to do the MOT on my 2.3. The MOT man was amazed, he checked twice if the engine is actualy running and if the test devices are ok. The exhaust gases were so low that this 10 year old is more eco-friendly than a euro 4 new car !!! }{

glad it passed with flying colours..i dont think anybody likes the day of the mot.I borught my car last month with 12 months mot on it ...but already dreading the day it goes in even though its in good nick you just dont know whats going to happen ???

hahahahhahha failed on both wishbones but thats it.Now have a full 12 months ticket and no advisories.My scorep is going in my local paper for sale and on ebay late next week...im gutted but just brought a mitsubishi gto 3lr and cant run em both.ill post pictures etc if anyone wants to make me an offer on the cars for sale section :'(
