I know we have a few members who ride motorbikes on here, I have a set of leathers to sell and would appreciate any advice on the best sales method without using e-bay

Hi, some small motorbike clothing shops sell second hand gear, might be worth a try, or the bargain pages is free to advertise. You probably wont get much for them though. Might be worth hanging on to them if you get another bike.

BETTER STILL BUY A MOTORBIKE ;D ;D as its summer now.

Sold two pairs last year when I had to give up Motorcycling due to a serious operation.

Sold through local Adtrader paper. ;)

Thanks guys, I'll tell him to put an add in the locals, they belong to my lad, only wore them 5 times and has grown out of them, d'ye know he was just the same when he was little, forever having to buy him new rompers.... }{ }{

also consider your local bike trader.

Do you have a local bike club such as MAG etc go along to one of their meetings and let them know they are for sale. Leave a mobile number with them.
When I was in my local club anything bike related would sell on word of mouth and a mobile number ;)

You could always cut them up and use the bits to cushion the inside of your workshop vice.
I used the memsahibs leather trollys for my workshop vice. She dosent know it yet but I am sure she wont mind. :-X
