Title: website hosting Post by tintin on Jun 29th, 2007, 3:52pm ok, another challenge for you guys, i know you like a challenge ;D im looking to "buy" a present for someone to set up a family website (pics, news, bdays etc) but also with functionality for webcams. he is moving with his family to asia, leaving his mum behind, and wants to make sure she can "see" the kids regularly. both her and him are fairly computer-illiterate......so has to be simple. money is not really an issue, budget of a couple of hundred should see him through a year, i reckon. tried google, but no-one seems to do the webcam functionality. |

Title: Re: website hosting Post by petehull on Jun 29th, 2007, 4:04pm I used to use a webcam link on messenger between Hull and Plymouth, it worked ok for what I wanted and you could use something like Photobucket for the photo's or the msn photo album facility as per the link below. Dont think this would cost anything, I may be wrong.... hth Pete http://www.photos.msn.co.uk/ |
