Title: Re: Oh no... not another Corsair!! Post by v4-max aka Cheekyboy1 on Sep 1st, 2007, 10:43pm i realy like the look of the corsair had one in the seventies, a red 2ltr if my memory serves me right. ex girlfriend smashed it into a wall. have you ever thought about trying to put a more modern lump in one? like a 24v, had a 75 escort van once with a 3ltr v6 capri engine fitted bog standard apart from braces to stop the body flexing, and the capri brakes. often thought of trying something like that again. |

Title: Re: Oh no... not another Corsair!! Post by Baz on Sep 1st, 2007, 10:48pm It is fully working and just needs an MOT to complete... no tax necessary of course! As for sticking a different engine in?... I am not really to interested in doing that sort of stuff now. There is a member of the Corsair owners club who has fitted the 24v Cossie engine from a Granada. Now that shifts a bit! |
