once a hd is partioned is it possible to add gigs from an un partioned area to the partioned bit (xp pro)?

i've just re built my pooter with super duper bits (im back full time ;D), but i wanted a partion mainly just for windows which i did but, i didnt give it enough gigs, so i now have a pooter that is low on disc space in c drive, but has 245 gigs doing nothing much at all...... ::)

yep, you cant resize using XP disk manager, you will need a program, eg PartitionMagic or PartitionExpert. simple to use.....

I hink you can using disc management, but Its such a long time ago my memory fades !

cheers for the replies........you cant do it with xp unless as said you use a specified programme......which i didnt have, so i wiped everything and started again lol.....
