was out with a lady friend the other night and needed some diesel (bear in mind the car has been off the road for a while and i havent put anything in the tank in ages), couldnt believe it, £1.22.09 per litre!!!! so thats £1.23 per litre in reality :o annoyingly earlier i had turned my nose up at veggie oil being £1 per litre thinking theres hardly any price difference.
then i hear on the radio theres all sorts of aggro with fuel. luckily for me the majority of my journeys i cycle but i feel for those that are having businesses etc strangled because of it...

I'm moving to Zimbabwe next year, could live like a king with the £40 per week I'd save on fuel there ::)

Filled up today, unleaded is £1.15 here. No justice, they know we need fuel, a repeat of the 2000 protests would only mean massive profits for the fuel companies before and after as people started panic buying and then all rushed to the forecourts to fill up as soon as the strike had ended...whatever happens the treasury still earns a filthy amount of money from it all >:(

As with everything in this country, all it ever does is impact small business and the ordinary working Joe...but we're all too gullible or just too preoccupied with everything else going on to bother about it :-/

I have family in Gibraltar when I last visited them it cost me less than £20 to fill the tank of a c-max okay there was a quater left in. :o
Got to say I was amazed how cheep it is over there.
Even spains fuel is less than half what we pay.
As soon as my daughter is finished her education I will not be living in the uk

Al, you're right mate.

We've got some family who moved to Oz years ago, they wouldn't have come back to the UK for anything..

One day I'm hoping to emigrate to NZ, been thinking this for a few years now...the UK is finished, don't want to be forced to settle down and get old over here the way things are going :-/

Work for a few years, build some decent skills and then pick up my life and go...
