last year I had new sills and wheel arches put in my scorpio .The guy who did it was said to be so good ...he told me he did insurance work for several companys .Well six months later the truth shows ,blistering paint work rust showing through ,I took it back to him ,he had hit the bottle his wife had left him ,he was a mess .not a chance of a refund or the job being put right .Its now booked into a proper paint shop to do it right this time and I will get a warrenty but at a cost of 1500 plus vat ,it cost me 600 last time .........................I MUST LOVE THIS CAR......I wrote this in crayon because we are not allowed anything sharp in here ...

You ought to buy my car, I spent 1500 on the bodywork only last year.... ;) that was only a bit of it..... ;D

I think £1500 + the dreaded sounds like an awful lot of money for sills and rear wheel arches :o

I would definately get some other quotes.

Yes indeed, while I love my Scorpio, any work that will cost £1500 means it's time to say ta ta to the old girl. ???
