It does not seem to have the same torx bolts that the Scorpio uses! Any ideas?

Is there a Fusion owners forum or a Haynes manual for this vehicle ???

Are people allowed to mention FWD vehicles on this site :o

Hi Gozz, It's Front Wheel Drive, I used to think it stood for Four Wheel Drive, but I was wrong.

Nothing on the internet - not sure about Haynes, was trying to do it today for my Brother :-/

As for FWD - if an admin can have a Volvo then I'm sure I can get away with mentioning an other model of Ford!! ;D ;D

Dave. Just tried Google too, can't find a thing ???

Any chance it'd be on one of the TIS discs? I got a recent one a couple of months back on Fleabay, I'll load it up in a minute and see if the Fusion is in there

I'm a sufferer of Funny Wheel Disposition too, guess though it could be worse than a M - M - Mon...no, I can't say it :-[

From the TIS:

Steering Wheel (135240)

Removal

1. Remove the driver air bag module.For additional information, refer to «Section 501-20A». For additional information, refer to «Section 501-20B».

2. Note: Make sure the road wheels are in the straight ahead position.

Centralize the steering and lock it in position.

3. Remove the steering wheel.

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Seems the airbag cover is held on with two clips either side of the steering wheel then you pull the cover off from the top???
