I have finally managed to get hold of an S Class Mercedes; which I have wanted for a few years now.

Just bought a facelift 2003 S320 CDI. 81K on the clock and a few scratches and dings, but drives well and accelerates as fast as my Cosworths!

So, I will be having a clearout of all sorts of stuff in the next few weeks; including the spare Cosworth with 88k on the clock.... keep your eyes open on EBay!

Not selling S29 though,... got to have something to go to Harewood with; cn't be turning up in a Merc or Volvo or anything can I?? ;D

That's what breakdowns in France do for you Baz!. Just wait 'till Snoopy sees the bit about Harewood ;D ::). Looks a really nice motor.

Simmo,

the breakdown in France was a turning point in a lot of ways. It introduced me to the S Class and it stopped me travelling in the Scorpio to the South of France; and let me discover the wonders of the train!

I am finding it increasingly hard to keep S29 going to use as my everyday car for business; because if anything goes wrong like it has at the moment, and the car is off the road, my business starts to suffer and that isn't good.

Still, having taken the S Class for a drive yesterday; it is a complete beast and a worthy replacement.

S29 can be used for short trips and shows now!!
