How about this gents, am looking foe scorp for the missus, on ebay is a 2.3 ultima auto in purple, 72000 mls, reg p268 lwc, I have a 2.3 ultima auto in purple, reg p237 lwc, makes me feel i have to have it, only £300+

Another strange happening then ! You could put the same number on both of em,and share the tax disc ! I don't recall the WC registration,WA and WB were Sheffield,then it went WD Warwickshire.Must be a later number for a big conurbation,maybe Essex or the like,very interesting !
Go for it boy,best look first though ! you know what these beasties can be like from bitter experience.Then of course,as the auctioneer says "it's not where it starts,it's where it finishes".

Thanks for that,this is a very much later list than the one in my old skull ! I see they have lumped Cambridge and Isle of Ely numbers into Peterborough,presumably because the area LVLO is here :)

Gozz, went to see it today, 400 ml round trip, sunrood not working, cc blowing cold, gearbox oil, nothing showing on dipstick, but bodywork and interior very good, see its up to 370 now, so very undecided, all i want is number plate ;D ;D, sorry also abs light on all the time

Sounds a bit of a liability,was the engine running with no gearbox oil on stick ? if not it's a wonder it was mobile at all ! you could ask yourself where the oil may have gone ! the abs light could be a nuisance to eradicate as you know,cold heater likewise,the sunroof you could live with for now,but is more work later ??? It could be that you have spent enough making the trip to see it,although it is still not a hugely expensive basic purchase at present and you could always put the number on retention and flog it again.Decisions decisions 8)

Just had a butchers,why do they all look so good in photos ? I presume it,s the Doncaster one.I am only about 85 miles from there,and am armed with a Tranny and trailer if you make a sudden decision to have it,and need it whipping away.

Gozz you are a star, thanks for the offer, I have till 9ish tonight to make a decision, to be honest i have a budget of about 750, so would leave me a bit to play with regarding fixing it, forgot to say its only got 71000 mls, body really good and interior, my mind is in a whirl lol, lots of thinking to do today, and thanks for the offer

HI, without wishing to complicate or interfer inany way, i have an "A"frame and what everybody seems to call "SPECTACLE" lift. tese are towed by a V.W Caravelle Micro-Bus.Like Goss if i can help it would be my pleasure. Sorry i am in BRENTWOOD Jnct 28 M25
