Thought that by the time the scorp was made there were no East & West Germany anymore. Apparently the seat memory switch was produced before 1990 in mine. There is a clear "W Germany" stamp on it.

There are quite a few trim components and some of the switches etc. that were carried over from the Granada to the Scorpio and seeing as the Granada was manufactured from the mid eighties, the Berlin Wall was still in place!

That is why the conversion to electric rear seats is so easy on the Scorpio using parts straight out of the Granada!!
