i'm not a spoiler fan ;) and not a post-lift Scorps fan ;)

is it an aftermarket spoiler for Scorpios or did he cut it off from something else? :)

Gozz, I'm just looking at it for the second time with a fresh eye and surprisingly it doesn't look bad for me... well maybe i would not fit one myself but if i was buying a Scorpio and saw one with a spoiler like that i'd find it quite intriguing :) although it would have to be a pre-facelift Scorpio for me to buy it ;)

where did he get the spoiler from? i looks familiar... like from a toyota or honda...

yep - looks like an escort MkV RS 2000 spoiler to me :)

I'm thinking about a spoiler for mine, although i dont like how he has it mounted - its too far inboard (so that the lagging curve of the spolier is in line with the boot edge ) - they look better with an overhang :)

I have a couple to experiment with tho (including an RS2k one lol) - thinking i might try a saph cossie one :)

I thought it gave it that wow factor but maybe not to every ones likeing, the one thing i didnt wont to do was ruin its looks.maybe when i come to harwood it will look better in the flesh. dave

I'e never been a spoiler fan for the Scorpio but of all the ones i've seen that ones probably best, would like to see it from another angle, I'll see it in the flesh at Harewood ;)

Adding insult to controversy,do any of you go faster or'wow factor'chaps know where I may find a pair of side skirts(no,car type)for my Cossie? Shaun says Granada 3 will fit!

You'll also find that most of the "universal" RS2000 style side skirts are supplied sooo long that they'll nicely fit a scorp :)

I always felt that the Scorpio boot was a little too large and round (Beyonce?),, just needed that something to break it up a little.,

I quite like the spoiler idea but i havent seen one that really seems to "fit" they never seem just to have that right look.

I always thought a kind of MK2 Escort/Capri spoiler might be the thing i was looking for, a bit lower and further back i think

Those were ducktails IIRC - think they'd look aweful.....

think the best match i've seen so far are the RS2K ones - the scorp has an unusual blend of swoopy rounded styling generally, but a squarish boot - meaning nothing fits quite right

I did see this one some time ago on Ebay.
I asked the owner which car did the spoiler come from.
Unfortunately, he didn't know as it was already fitted along with the 18" Kahns.

It does, i#ve never been a fan of the lighter colours on the Scorpio but I do like the white, makes it look a completely different car

I may be able to get you a pair that are in "ok" condition. By ok i mean they are in hi build primer & are slightly warped along the bottom edge  :o. Isnt really as bad as it sounds. To remove the warp they will need heating with a hair drier & clamping to something flat. On the plus side if available they will be offered on a "make a donation to the site" basis. The down side is they will have to be collected from sunny Birmingham  :-/. Let me know if your intrested & i'll go & raid the dusty corners of a friends garage for you  ;) ;D ;D ;D

Thanks for your continued assistance,it all sounds OK to me,I occasionally go your way,and wouldn't mind a special trip anyway.I've had no experience in the fitting of those things,but am quite handy  ;)
