Evening all. I have been thinking about this for a while now  ::) ::) ::). Does anyone know of any facelift ultima cossie estates in WHITE (apart from mine) ? ? ? . I've seen a couple of pre facelift estates & one saloon in white ( funily enough all 12 valves), but never another facelift estate  ???. Surley i cant be the only one out there.....Can i  }{ }{ }{

hi there

i've sure i've seen a facelight saloon at one of our harewood hose meetings. might have been an estate, though as the member had both at the time.

one was a 2.3 ultma and the other was a 2.3 or 24v ghia, iirc.

i haven`t seen many white scorpios at all , someone on here posted pictures of a white saloon , looked really really nice , im surprised the old bill didnt use scorpio cosworths .......or did they?

Yes, the police did use them, along with (so im told) the military and a few diplomatic core cars :)

Spike is selling an ex police facelift ghia x 24v at the moment - looks quite nice but it doesnt seem to want to shift....

Blimey... the plot thickens  ;D ;D ;D. Yep i remember seeing tonys saloon & i too clocked that one on ebay a while ago ( might of even had a bid)  ::) ;). Pity theres no way of researching how many models were made in each colour  :-/. Dont know how i manage to get scorpios in "different" colours. The last one was a Loden green estate & in all my years of scorpio ownership, i've never seen another...Still miss that car  :'(. Oh well if i see another White one i'll have to get a picture. Dont want the car getting a complex now do i  ;D ;D ;D

There's still a Scorp on a diplomatic plate outside the Rhodesian embassy off the Strand - starting to show a fair bit of rust around the arches - don't suppose they can afford a service  ;)

i usually hate white paintwork on cars,they seem to show the onset of rust very easy,BUT just looking at the pictures of those scorps especially the facelift one my whole outlook has been thrown.they look absolutely beautiful.so much i would consider purchasing one as my next car.
does anyone know how many of them were made.it seems to be a rare colour.
they really do look a bit of class.

Hi Big timer. TBH i havent seen another facelift 24v estate. Im seriously begining to think im the only one  :o :o :o. Like yourself used to hate white cars with a passion...Until this one  ::). It was absolutley awful when i first got it & has taken me hours of mopping / polishing to get it looking good. It came back from the bodyshop yesterday having the whole N/S of the car straightened out & resprayed ( was damaged when i bought it...Honest ) ;D. Now i have to wait 2 weeks for the paint to fully harden before i can get a good coat of wax on the old gal  :(. As soon as it's finished i will post a few piccys  ;) ( probably with the help of matt...Im usekess with computers)  ;D ;D ;D

my wee sister quite happily gives me it back everytime it needs tyres/serviced/repaired ;D

Although last time I got it back she got a 2.0 auto in its place for a week and she likes the automatic so it may be coming home ;)

not sure about that "taxi" sign , shouldnt it be on the roof in an orange colour ;)
joking aside , looks a really nice blue , aint seen many of that shade,
those are very nice wheels on tonys car , got to say never been a fan of white cars but that one looks fantastic, boootiful :)

There is one on the roof, albeit white.....it's that lighty up triangle thing  ;)


P.S.....Gozz...the new HD springs really have made a difference in both appearance & handling when there's a bit of weight in the back....the rear wheels don't dissapear inside the wheel arches anymore  :)
