Title: Another one!! Post by Highlander on Jun 1st, 2009, 9:58pm Picked up another Scorpio off ebay tonight, the plan was to break it so I bought it unseen with no tax or mot so I wasnt expecting much. 2.0 16v Ultima Saloon in Loden Green a lovely colour that i've never come across before. The owner was a retired mechanic who had looked after it really well and apart from a couple of bits on the real arches its in mint condition lovely and polished, you would think no one had ever sat in the back of it, looks almost like a new car. Four new tyres, new front discs and pads Anyway had a good drive in it and I can hardly fault it, the dimming mirror has the oval of liquid in it and the rear calipers are sticking but thats it. An absolutly beautiful colour, especially in full sun ( lots of gold flecks ) ;). I still have 1/2 a tin of touch up paint if you want it m8 ;) |

I have seen one with the rear lights facelifted but never the bumper etc. as they discontinued the colour before the change in 97 Baz This was Big Lee's Loden green car at Weston Super Mare meet in 2005 with the facelift rear end..... unfortunately this car was written off shortly afterwards.
