thinking of taking advantage of the 2 grand for an old banger scheme...............do it soon;

its been such a success that the money put aside for it (expected to last til feb) is likely to run out in august and an extension is unlikely.
apparently the only losers are the government, i dont know why but its said they dont make any money from new car sales less than £7,600, most people have been doing deals around 5 grand for new economy hatchbacks.......

you dont have to ditch your pride n joy......any old banger will do as long as its over 10 years old and you've owned it for at least 12 months..........

that said, where else will you get 2 grand for a scorp.........

A "loophole" around the Tax & Mot is to provide a SORN declaration.
Having said that, i wouldn't relinquish my Scorp to the scrap heap.
I purchase Scorps to be different from the crowd and enjoy finance free motoring.
There is the obvious parts, problems, etc.... to go along with ownership. However, the rewards far outway the negatives. 8)

Likely there will be some "Hidden" scheme within the reasoning for the idea in the first place, it's just working it out..... ;)

adam has taken the words out of my mouth (or is that off my keyboard ;D)
i bought my scorpio for that reason too , its so different to other cars out there
i love my scorpio to bits and it will take more than 2 grand for me to part with mine
