Title: if you're....... Post by taliban aka Cheekyboy2 on Jun 4th, 2009, 7:44pm thinking of taking advantage of the 2 grand for an old banger scheme...............do it soon; its been such a success that the money put aside for it (expected to last til feb) is likely to run out in august and an extension is unlikely. apparently the only losers are the government, i dont know why but its said they dont make any money from new car sales less than £7,600, most people have been doing deals around 5 grand for new economy hatchbacks....... |

Title: Re: if you're....... Post by adam on Jun 5th, 2009, 12:41am A "loophole" around the Tax & Mot is to provide a SORN declaration. Having said that, i wouldn't relinquish my Scorp to the scrap heap. I purchase Scorps to be different from the crowd and enjoy finance free motoring. There is the obvious parts, problems, etc.... to go along with ownership. However, the rewards far outway the negatives. 8) |
