And I have no physical evidence of mine being an Ultima anywhere, no badge no logo, nothing. But I can't name any Ultima option my car hasn't got. Were all 24V's Ultimas, hence no logos? Also, never saw a scorp-ad in Germany ever mentioning other trim levels than Ghia, yet they were generously equipped. When I bought a beemer 7 or so years ago, there were quite a lot of badge options you could add for no charge. |

Not all 24v's were Ultimas. The 24v was available certainly as a Ghia and Ghia-X (not sure about the early Executive models but I think they were too) As far as I remember, the early Scorpios (94, 95 etc) only had the "Scorpio" logo on the rear doors. Models after that seemed to have the model number as well; Ghia, Ghia-X etc. No factory Scorpio had any mention of the Cosworth engine on the outside of the cars and probably because of the spate of thefts of Escort Cosworths which were around at the time of launch in 94 ;D |

Title: Re: ultima badge Post by Highlander on Jun 12th, 2009, 12:05pm Yep seen a few 24v Executives, usually wiithout aircon fitted |
