Gozz, when I was at your place last week, you told me the Beardmore was a rare car....

Baz.
There are quite a few left,as I said,although they were not produced in vast numbers,the quality and toughness is such that pro rata,possibly more of them survive than mass produced cabs.Did you see the owner in Warrington ? he may be a member of the London Vintage Taxi Association ! There is a bloke near Bolton who has several old cabs,and does a bit of dealing in them.Warrington was once in Lancashire as well,I had a bit of a set to with a clever policeman in the Cheshire force who said that this had never been the case,a real knowall,but then he was only about 40 ::)

4 Beautiful cars.
The Rover in the background of Baz's pic reminds me of my first car.
1946 Rover Fourteen, bought for my 21st birthday by my now late father for £10 (a lot of money in 1967) I never did get to master the "freewheel" though, but oh boy that early aircon was a hoot.

I'm not a day over 40 Craig, I'm a lot of days over but don't feel it.
