Shame, a late facelift model by the look of it, can't tell if it had headlamp washers though & no wing badge so probably a 2 litre unless the badge had come off ???

Front crumple zone seems to have worked well :o

Clarkson always hated the Scorpio from day 1...

It's a shame that a big oaf like that is allowed to voice his views and perform his silly tricks in public.After all many of his devotees hang on his every word rather than form their own opinions,thus damaging otherwise reputable marques :(

Right on the button there Gozz. Dont forget Clarkson used to own a 24v estate & looks aside rated the car to be quite good ::)

I have the full video and I can confirm it was a cossie Ultima he trashed. In his defense he does state that the car was well built and incredibly well equipped. The only thing he didn't like was the styling.
I have mixed feelings about Clarkson.
Obviously there's this but he did write in one of his books that he thought the MK2 Granada was a great car so I personally find it hard to hold a grudge against the man.
Oh, and he's got possibly the best job in the world imho ;)

If a car must be trashed like that why not then one with busted gearbox+engine etc. instead of taking one off the road...

you will all be pleased to hear that the one that got dropped was mot failure and was
in a bad way
the one that you see driving is ok it lives outside my house and get's used everyday
