i was just looking through members on here and was wondering if i am the youngest everyone seems to be 40 plus i am 24

Good to have some younger appreciation of a very fine Ford.

What made you choose a Scorpio ?

I was 25 when I bought my 1st Mk2 Granada and all my mates started asking why I had a Grandads car - till of course they sat in it...the silence was deafening ;)

i was just looking at cars on ebay i had seen a few scorpios about and then when i realised i could afford one with all the toys i went to view one and as soon as i sat in it i was hooked, i have a 1996 2.0l ultima estate and i cant think of any other car i would want.

i was 20 when i bough my first 24v sliver facelift saloon

now 24 myself and 8 scorpios under my belt ;D

Ive had four variants of scorpio, 2litre, 2.3 and the oiler, but the best by far is my latest 2.9 12v ghia with ricaro seats, the bees knees at 23mpg

21 :o :o :o Is that your age or the number of Scorpios you have had ::) ;D ;D. I just wish i could remember 21 ;D. Well im 38 & on my 4th scorpio, but had 51 cars in total ;D ;D ;D

T-o-F - 51 cars and only 38 yo :o

10 yrs older than you, been driving almost 30 yrs and including my Sierra and Scorpio which I currently have I'm only just in double figures :D

50 this year and hilman hunter, cortina mk2, cavalier, granada mk2, granada mk3 X 3, rover 820i, astra, and now my scorpio. 10 cars in 26 years. and all the cars were over 10 year old when i got them.... :)

;D ;D ;D. I used to do a bit of buying & selling Mike ::) all registered in my name though ;). To name a few....... 2x Jags, 3 x Porsche, 3 x Range rovers, 11 x Mk3 Granadas, 2 x Mk2 Granadas, 3 x Capris, 2 x Mercs, escorts ( cant remember how many ), orions, sierras + loads of other tat ;) ;D... I did have part ownership on a Ferrari 400 & a Mk2 Jenson interceptor as well :o Sadly though the father in law flogged both of them :'( :'(

23 and 3 scorpios so far including the one i've just got. lots of granadas, sierras, omegas, mercs, volvos, an XJ6 etc behind me too, serious fan of the big cruisers

I remember being the youngest owner quite a few years ago when i got my first scorpio at 18, then got my cossie when i was 19 as for some reason it was cheaper to insure than my 1.8td escort i had at the same time.
I'm probably still the youngest diesel driver at 23, still got 3 of the clattery things 8)
