Title: Re: MOT Pass !! Post by Highlander on Mar 25th, 2010, 3:54pm Excellent! If you intend keeping it for more than another year get that corrosion sorted ASAP. Once it starts to go on those areas it goes really fast! I think the body flexes at that point so the worse the corrosion gets the more it flexes the more it corrodes and so on..... |

Title: Re: MOT Pass !! Post by PJDavis on Mar 25th, 2010, 7:36pm If this area is well noted for it's corrosion, can we have a wee pic up or a link so's I can check exactly where it is. Although, currently mine seems to have no rust underneath. |

Title: Re: MOT Pass !! Post by Jonnycab on Mar 25th, 2010, 11:49pm The area where it rusts is on the chassis rail, just behind the rear suspension insulator bush :) The wifes Scorp estate had to be welded there (N/S) for the MOT last year. Incidentally, the wifes estate also passed it's MOT today.....with no advisories 8)...... :D |
