Title: Scorpio prices on the up! Post by Highlander on Apr 15th, 2010, 10:36am I dunno if its the high scrap price, low value of the pound, the recession forcing people to downgrade or not to upgrade their car, or a combination of the above but the selling prices (and asking prices)! are definitely on the rise.. I keep a close eye on ebay, autotrader etc and cars seem to be shifting for about 50% more than they were a year ago, which I find surprising considering we are averaging 1.20 a litre for fuel and thats only going to increase.. I've not bought one for ages, even the scrappers are fetching 300 quid! :) |

Title: Re: Scorpio prices on the up! Post by tlundkvi on Apr 15th, 2010, 7:04pm I think it's only in the UK the scorpios are/were exceptionally cheap. In Germany for example, don't expect anything but a non-runner or seriously faulty for less than 1000 euros. A decent one averages at 1500-2000 euros. |
