just wondered, if was it 110,000 ever built, how many ended up in uk and how many left today in uk, perhaps what % are on the forum.
i admit ive only seen 2 scorpios this year on the road, and when in mines wonder do folk stare at how unsual the car is or how ugly the fish eyes are.

I think it's starting to look old, interestingly, especially from the back. Think I've seen one other one so far this year as far as I can remember.

There have been a fair few rather more silly looking cars made since so styling wise not sure how it looks is too much of a problem nowadays.

I live in "Ford country" (Essex) and used to see a few about fairly regular, but last couple of years hardly any! Exremely thin on the ground elsewhere

Mike H.....I live in Ford country & work in the town that Ford has it's main HQ.

There are 4 or 5 Scorpios licenced as taxis in this town....so they are seen pretty regularly ;)

I cant get away from them !!! :-) ;-) . I have Bernie less than a mile from me, Stuart 3 miles from me & Matt a mere 4 miles away... Not to mention 2 sat on my drive :-). Must admit though... I love them :-)

Well There are two sat on my drive in Middlesbrough, plus a white one somewhere close by (keep walking around the estate to try and find it) and I know I've seen three more here I bought mine in August last year. I hope they will be around for quite few years to come as these are great cars!

including mine i know of at least 8 in the birmingham area, glad to say most are in great condition to, oddly all but 3 are 2.3's

Well at last count, Highlander had about 2,000 so there are a few up in bonnie Scotland!! :)

Strange, maybe folks is more ready to chuck 'em in the more ~~effluent~~ sorry affluent South. On the other hand we seem to be up to our armpits in Mondeos and Focuseses...

my local mechanic said mines will last as im in cornwall and car has been there for 15 yrs and due to lack of salt on roads, i did come from tayside,lots of salt in winter

well i cant speak for the uk, but i know of 3 UK imports owned by other people within 20 miles of me, i have two scorpios myself, one is a 1997 UK import the other was sold here (Ireland) new in 1998. There are another few around the area that i believe to be here from new. so if they seem to be running out over there at least you know there's still a few here

As already said by lleewar, several in NE Essex. Also as a 'Banger Racing' spectator i've seen at least 40 raced this year on East Anglian tracks.

banger racers I spoke to dont like them! too soft they reckon! ;D
