£3.5m fire station reopens

A fire station was officially reopened yesterday following a £3.5 million refurbishment.
Work began at Central station, in Lancaster Road, Leicester, in April last year to bring the 1920s Grade II-listed building up to 21st-century standards.

Oh dear, The dance floor and snooker room have been turned into office space :o

Thanks for that Rodders,at least they haven't knocked it down listed building eh !
I have great fondness for the old place,had some really good unforgettable times there with the Leicester lads,a grand bunch. :'(
