I went to 5 of the main yards in Lincolnshire today and only found 1 Scorpio
a 2.3 manual estate

They are diminishing fast,one of our local blokes rings me when he gets one,but I haven't heard from him for months.

theres 2 in a yard down in cornwall, united downs area, a 2.3 manual estate p reg and a 2.3 auto saloon R reg

Seems like Highlander has more Scorpio's than all the UK scrapyards put together ;D

I've got 7 cars and a number of motorbikes, none of which are worth any money (well maybe my mini, cos that has a Halda in it which is worth a grand on its own) - but I get so much grief from HID I think if I dared attempt to store any more I'd be like my second Scorp:

I think I have more of the r reg one than is left in the yard ::), Drews of st Day. Some prat broke the offside headlight before I could remove it. Had the sunroof motor today ;D. I was going to buy the complete car but had nowhere to put it, only needed a front bumper and n/s headlight to go back on the road. Ps its a facelift.

The NSEC (Nevenden South East Cars) yard in Stock, Essex, have always got a few stacked up :)

I went again today now they have 4 in

2 24v saloons
1 2.3 manual saloon
1 2.3 manual estate

Never been in any scrapyards for a while but it seems to be a very rare occurrence to meet one on the roads now.

i used to see 2 or 3 everytime I drove down South but now i never see any.

I'm not surprised Stuart, you don't really need to go to a scrapyard ;) By the way, I still need two nice steel rims from you, not bothered what the tyres are like! Oh and a nice condition saloon boot carpet.
