Anybody splashing out for a set of winter tyres this year?

I've put a set on both our Scorpio's this year after all the trouble I had last year trying to drive them in ice and snow.

Bought both set's of them from Mytyres.co.uk and they have been very good. I could not get any from any where else a few weeks ago when I was looking.

Approx cost for Continental 830 winter tyres for 205/65/R15 92H is £440 fitted which is not bad!

I bought my Avons from here last year:

Once the list for the selected size has come up click on the filter down the side to show only winter tyres.

They'll be going back on the car in a few weeks time.

If you can get a hold of Nokian Hakkapeliitta R (friction winter tyres) you should be well of for the winter. They are considered the best over here in the north.
