My local petrol station is currently 132.9 for a litre of petrol.

Anyone fancy having a sweep to guess what the price will be on say the 1st of June (2 months time) at 12 midday?

I thought we could maybe make it £1 for a guess with half the money to the winner and half to the site?

Anyone up for it? ;D

Great idea.   But instead of half and half to winner and site, why don't you get a wee prize like a keyring or batteries for a key-fob or something worth about a fiver?    I'll easy have a couple of guesses if I get a wee prise worth not much back, and it'll raise some money for the site.

You low-landers, it's only 128.9 at Asda in Elgin just now.   I take it we're talking Unleaded!   When does the 'fuel regulator' come in?

I'll say for my first guess, 137.9.

I shall make other guesses as time proceeds, but of course that will cost me an extra quid each next guess!

I'd go for £1.40 a litre but it depends where you are.

Our other car is a 'diesel' which is £1.36 at our local Tescos in Newbury, but it's £1.48 (!) a litre in the garage by the M4 at Junction 35 near Bridgend !

I didn't catch the price of the petrol as I was too busy getting away from the £1.48 stuff !

Diesel is £1.55 a litre at Chievely services at Junc 13 of the M4, the highest I have seen.

I take more interest in the price of diesel as I used an old and battered Citroen ZX to bash too and fro the thirty miles each way to work in Oxford, its done 199k and still running at 57 mpg.

I leave the Scorpio petrol to the wife!

Tesco here in Clacton is 132.9. Asda in Colchester is 134.9 unleaded/135.9 diesel ;)

Went past my 3 local stations today, over night they've all added nearly 5p to a liter

shell was 132.9 now 135.9
Merco was 133.9 now 138.9
BP was 132.9 now 136.9

if it goes up to around 140 then im priced off the road, even with the fiat 500  >:(

I don't bother anymore, Asda is always the cheapest unless I have a voucher from Tesco with the 5p off for spending more than £50.    I just fill 'Old-Movvy' up and drive.  :'(

In Leicester it's Just gone up today from 128.9 to 130.9 (Realistically 131) @ Morrisons and Sainsbury's.

Asda is 131.7 and Tesco is the dearest at 131.9
