Well, looks like the town of Wickford in Essex has hit the headlines big time !!

Usually only famous because Alvin Stardust's mum used to own a cafe here, also it was the birthplace of naturism in the UK, Spikies Scorpios are now based here & of course, I live hear :D

Forget all that though, Wickford has now well & truly been put on the map by being the home of one of the FBI's most wanted cyber criminals in the world :o
.....A 19 year old recluse computer geek, who is thought to be the head honcho of LulzSec (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LulzSec)

He has apparently hacked the US Senate, FBI, CIA, British Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA), UK NHS records, UK 2011 census records, Sony & Nintendo to name but a few :o

A 3.30am raid on Tuesday (a mile from me) by Scotland Yard, in co-ordination with the FBI, led to the arrest of this 19 year kid :o

Come to think of it, on Monday afternoon, I did think it a bit strange to see a couple of guys in black suits & dark glasses, with American accents in WHSmith buying a local map ;D
