I remember the old Taunus, and like the shape and never understood why we didn't have it, although some might say it was very similar to a mk3 Cortina. Look at the link, and in the pics is a Scorpio. Anyone on here?

That's just up the road from me PJ,the Scorpio is not one I have on my 'spotted' list,though there are still quite a few around these parts.I notice the Taunus is stated as 1300cc ? doubtful eh !

I believe the first of the V4 Koln engines were 1288cc. I think they were in 1300cc/1500cc/and 1700cc the last of which was built in Essex and went in our Consul. The first time I came across such a titchy V4 was in a Saab, but then of course Saab at that time was using Ford engines from Germany.

Go to ebay under Taunus,cars motorcycles and vehicles,I think he relisted it with a fixed price so the number may have changed.
