Hi all
Our scorpio has a toad alarm on so we dont have the original fob this means we havnt got the boot release like on the old one and im missing it. Could we fit one on this car or is it too much messing around.

You may find the remote boot mechanism is already fitted.

When I first got my scorp it came with a Toad fob without a third button for the boot, I got myself an original Scorpio fob and programmed it, pressed the third button and wallah the (in my case) tailgate opened.

Ahh :) might try that. Ours has got 4 buttons but only the open lock ones seem to do anything? i'll have a mess with it and let you know.

Lester's right Scorpio's have that built in as standard. Has to be a Scorpio fob to do it, nothing else works.

Ive always wondered if the estates have it aswell? i think its only the saloon but we have never owned a scorpio estate only granada estates.

Yes the estates do have remote 'tailgate' opening (well mine does), Two presses on the remote 'boot' button and open sesame and the four other doors remain locked.
