Title: Re: Nice Estate on ebay Post by Scorpio_Mike on Oct 5th, 2013, 11:08am Indeed it does look very nice & clean, under 30k miles - probably because there are not many roads on the Channel Islands - but that will all have been short journeys, beware of premature timing chain issues. Unusual engine size 2500cc for a 24v ? Obviously an error in the listing. Nice wheels though, don't think I've ever seen those before, nice colour too ;) |

Title: Re: Nice Estate on ebay Post by Jeff on Oct 10th, 2013, 1:23pm This does indeed look like the one I went to see. I wanted an Ultima and of course it's not. My mistake. But if anyone's tempted, make sure the corrosion underneath hasn't got any worse! The seller might try offering it without the 2 in front of the asking price if he wants to get rid of it. |

Title: Re: Nice Estate on ebay Post by dave44 on Oct 10th, 2013, 8:36pm My brother used to buy cars from the Islands for the self drive hire fleet. The main reasons for doing so was young age, very low mileage and they completed the required mileage life at an age to be expected, allowing a reasonable resale price. |

Title: Re: Nice Estate on ebay Post by Jeff on Oct 10th, 2013, 11:15pm Can't agree with the comments about the wheels on this one, sorry. If I did, we'd both be wrong.... They look like plastic hub caps sold for caravans. |
