Aye, it's about £1.06 up here in the North of Scotland.     ;D   Without making a political fuss, it'll be cheaper when we're independent!     Anyways, not as cheap as in Texas, I was there for my six-weeks in summer, and it was 3 dollars a USA gallon, (128 fl oz against our 160 fl oz) but, there fuel price drops really rapidly as the Crude price goes down, and currently a gallon of 'Gas' in Austin-Texas is 1.90 Dollars!   If they were paying our price for fuel it would be 6.20 dollars a USA gallon taking exchange and difference of fluid onces into consideration.    Rip-Off  uk .

Around £1.08 per litre here in the South East   :(
About 75% of the cost at the pumps is apparently duty & VAT.
Duty has been frozen for the past 5 years, long may that continue.
