Title: 2007 radio amp fuse - which one? Post by simonw on Mar 15th, 2004, 9:20am Hi gurus, My 2007 radio went on the blink this morning - it still lights up, tunes in to radio station, controls the CD changer, etc, but no sound comes out of the speakers. If I crank the volume up to maximum I can just about hear the radio, very quietly, so of course I suspect the amplifier. I'm hoping it's just the fuse that's gone, so... anyone got any idea which one it is? The manual lists one fuse for "radio" (fuse 8) and one for "interior lights/audio systems" (fuse 24 I think) - I've checked those and they're both fine. TIA Simon |

Post by SaveTheNight on Mar 15th, 2004, 10:59am maybe amp but I think they are fairly reliable ... low volume in the " olden days " ...used to output transistors on whichever side I believe .. ie: left or right output .. but the radio techs will let ya know anyway ... regards ......STN |

Title: Re: 2007 radio amp fuse - which one? Post by Alan on Mar 16th, 2004, 12:36am It sounds as if your amp is shot. Check all wiring connections are tight first before you buy a new one. Also check if you have power to the amp as well. Easier said than done. It is located in the dash above the glovebox but below the air bag. Good luck Alan |
