Since the car broke down with 2 wires from the engine management system to the petrol tank shorting out i have had a misfire, the garage has repaired the wires car starts but misfires . Any ideas

If control box anyone braking a 2.0i / scorpio who whats to sell me one.

Make sure that the control wires going to the ingintion coils are not cracked and shorting out as this is a common problem with both 2.0 and 2.3 engines.
Its between the cams under the black cover with the ford sign printed on it.
