Title: Re: Drivers Door Lock Post by craig on Apr 2nd, 2004, 6:59am also worth thinking that the drivers lock hardly gets used because of the remote locking, had the same problem, plenty of WD40,and keep trying, hopefully like mine, the lock will eventually "free up"..... HTH craig.. |

Title: Re: Drivers Door Lock Post by Big_John_53 on Apr 2nd, 2004, 7:32am Maybe I worded this wrong the central locking works with the key from the passenger side, the key fits in the lock but doesn't do anything, on the drivers side,it will only lock from the passenger side. There is no remote for the central locking it is all done from a key. |

Title: Re: Drivers Door Lock Post by craig on Apr 2nd, 2004, 5:34pm being an ultima, should of had remote locking/unlocking,my guess is still that the lock might have seized up a little, how long have you had the car ?,if you have recently bought it,any chance of contacting the previous owner to see if a remote is availiable ? |
