Title: Idle prob. with 24V BOA Post by howiedintheplace on Apr 10th, 2004, 11:36pm ??? I wonder if any one has come across this one before? Engine starts, idles & runs fine most of the time. However anytime after the engine has warmed up it sometimes starts to idle @1500 RPM. It does not always happen & I can clear the problem if I stop & restart the engine. This problem seems to be now getting worse, so I need to try & fix it A.S.A.P. Any ideas would be helpful. Dave. |

Title: Re: Idle prob. with 24V BOA Post by howiedintheplace on Apr 13th, 2004, 5:02pm Thanks for the reply Alan. I had a look today, it turned out to be a sticky kick down cable causing the throttle not to completely shut down every now & then. Lubed it back up but then it idled rougthly?????? Reset the ECU to default & all now seems well. Just been on a 100 m run with a trailer & no problems. Dave. |
