Steve,

Me and Mick did reply to your original post under (Problems/Help).

have you physically had the fuse box in pieces and dried all the plates and copper contacts inside? if dampness is trapped between these sandwiched plates inside the only way to completely dry is to disassemble. if you set aside a full day and take your time its not that difficult. Before you decide to have an electrician look or dismantle the fuse box, check all the connectors on the underside of the fuse box - accessible only up underneath the drivers side foot well. Like in my previous reply I mentioned that my old man (Kevin_R) had inoperative front headlights - this was an easy fix, one of the connectors on the fuse box underside had worked loose.

Steve, before you go lashing out cash take a look at the underside of the fuse box.In the drivers footwell to the right of the pedals, you may have to remove a bit of trim to make access easier.

Check all the connectors are firmly seated,THIS IS A FAIRLY COMMON PROBLEM.

Have someone watch the headlights (switched on!) whilst you do it.
