Hi

Just bought used scorpio ghia. I have noticed that all interior lights are dead. The reading lights, foot lights also those red lights in doors and the high stop light. I've checked fuses, they seem to look OK, radio is also working (probably the same fuse). Mayby its some cable? or a plug?
Does anybody how to fix this, please?

Hi Mate
i had the same problem, it turned out to be one of the fuses in the box next to the battery had blown, but to look at it you'd think it was ok, only after testing it with a meter did i notice a tiny break in it, i cant remember which fuse it was but theres not that many on that board, might be worth a go, its not forced to be the same problem but you never know....

if I remember right...fuse 36 in the aux fuse box next to the battery.....it may look alright, but as already stated may have a tiny split.....replace anyway...

I'll check it tomorrow.
Its the power saving fuse.
If it's broken shouldn't heated windscreens, or sth else be dead?
In my case, except mentioned lights all other electric/onic features work well.

Anyway, I'm very glad that I found such a great site about scorpio.
Since I'm writing from Poland, thanx GOD for internet, so users from around the world can easily discuss problems, experiences etc.

Double check the red door lights before you try to get them working! Some wre fitted with dummy red plastic bits but no kit behind them,just fresh air!

Now how many people have had exactly the same fuse go like that? And it always looks fine. ::)
