I have at last managed to buy an Ultima, but have noticed that the red door lights dont work, I have checked all the fuses. The inside and foot lights work ok. Please help.

What year model is it?

Are you sure they are lights as the later models just had reflectors.Prise one out as if you were changing a bulb, if there isn't a bulb there is your answer.

Yes the bulbs are there.

Do the white puddle lights on the bottom of the door work?

I have one of them in the drivers door and that not working either.

These lights were not fitted to the facelift model. My guess is that either the previous owner has fitted them and not wired them up or more likely the door has been replaced with one from an older model at some time on it's life.

Thank you Oliver, that would explain why the other three doors dont have kerb lights, I have not checked behind the red lense's on the other doors. it seems to be sad that they cut back them on this model. My old Granada looked great at night with them. Again many thanks for your help.
