new owner of a 2.0l 8v estate executive (i think). my instrument lights in the speedo/ tacho are all dim and i cannot find an adjuster switch, it does not appear to be bulbs out as the light level is low all over. can any one advise me here.

unlike the granada,the scorpio does not have a dimmer for the interior bulbs.....
maybe they just seem to be dimmer because your not used to the car yet,but do make sure they are all working,will be obvious if they are not.....

all of the instruments are illuminated the needles are lit but it is so dim you cannot easily see numbers or water/fuel gauges , also odometer and computer readouts lit but very dull.

Sounds to me like you may need to replace the bulbs, Try looking here to see how it is done,

all working now, it was the bulbs after all, many thanks for your help.
