Title: Engine stalling/cuts out periodically Post by wrl-2 on Oct 1st, 2004, 8:44pm Hi all--I have a Granada 2.9i V6 24v Cosworth (Auto) which is 'M' registration (94), I believe this was the very last Granada model made before the newer shape was introduced. When I start the car and drive off, I can drive anything from 3 to how ever far I can go with the amount of fuel in the tank but with no warning at any time, even with cruise on at 55mph, the engine will completely cut out/stall and will not restart. The engine just turns over but waiting 2/3 mins, it starts fine and drives away as if nothing happened--and could stall again at any time. What could be causing the engine to just cut out? |
