For a 24v. I am changing mine as part of Erics theory test but Ford have supplied the wrong part. A diagram with a big arrow would be good or a photo even!!

Hi Baz .. remove the undertray .. look up ..follow the bottom hose to the brass canister .. you're THERE !!! .. cheers ...STN

Thanks STN, you are a star. I ordered a new one (Or rather my mates garage did) from our main Polar Ford Dealer. They sent what lookslike a manifold which is above the brass tank thing but between the heads (and it cost £120.00) as well as the wrong set of brake pads (twice) Just got a set from my local motor factors as well as a new alternator belt all in for less than £35.00 and this is a shop who deals mainly in Chavs GTI and nova stuff!!

I think I would have more luck going to the local butchers than my main dealer these days

ps. resist the temptation to replace the horrible cannister clips with jubilees if poss .. seems a great idea until trying to fit them ..hmmmm .. originals are ok when you persevere with them ...

STN, How much should I be looking to pay for the thermostat? The manifold thingy was 120 quid but I have no idea on the stat
