its v rainy here in Wales today and upon driving home today got a few drops of rain coming in through the courtesy light.

Have re-closed the sunroof just in case that was the problem and have fashioned a tissue nappy (!) for the car over the light and put some aluminium tape over where water could be getting in along the top of the windscreen on teh outside of the car (was desperate and would rather no paint than getting soaked). no more drips but who knows later.

Has anyone else had this and what's best to do about it?

Yes ive had this problem and on mine it was coming in from the aerial base ,i had been through a car wash without removing aerial and the brushes had actually bent the base of the aerial and dented roof very slightly and this is wher it was getting in some clear silicone sealer sorted problem ,dont rule out the sunroof but do check aerial base first its easier

I had the very same proble when i fist had my car but it only ever happened once when there was a very heavy storm, It has been alright since.
I think it may have been to much for the drainage to cope and came into the car somehow. I know what you mean about the rain though, I have been out driving it all week, got soaked right through yesterday.

On cars witha sunroof,there are two drain tubes from the front corners of the roof under the sunroof frame.
The tubes exit under the wheel arch liners at the base of the windscreen .
They tend to get 'crudded' up and probably need a clean.
Other members have advocated the use of a curtain/net wire (without the hook please!) pushed UP from the bottom. Care is needed to avoid pulling the drain tube off. Probably best to get a long wire and push up then pull through from the top rather than pulling back down.

Hi
If its comeing thro the interior light
its a very good chance as colinw stated
the aerial base
first remove the interior light cover

you need a torx screwdriver to release the screw
remove the aerial base put some clear silicon
on the base and refit.
